Coca-Cola Bottles Commemorate University of Georgia’s ‘Best Season Ever’
Coca-Cola is congratulating its longstanding partners at the University of Georgia (UGA) on their first College Football National Championship in 41 years.
Fans can visit Cokestore.com to order limited-edition Coca-Cola 8-oz. glass bottles celebrating the Dawgs’ “Best Season Ever”, which culminated Monday night in Indianapolis with a 33-18 victory over the University of Alabama.
Coca-Cola also will honor the team with a 2021 National Champions celebration on Saturday, Jan. 15, in the Dawgs’ hometown of Athens, Ga. Spectators will enjoy sampling stations of Coke Zero Sugar and have the opportunity to share cheers cards. Additional Coca-Cola activations and experiences include “Tastes Like Victory” point-of-sale materials and digital billboards across Georgia.

The last time UGA won the national championship, in 1980, Coca-Cola produced a first-of-its-kind commemorative bottle and accompanying tray. Both became cherished collectibles.
