Another Brazilian died during the Israeli attacks on Lebanon. Family members of Mirna Raef Nasser, 16, confirmed to Correio that the teenager died in an attack last Monday (23/9), and her body was found the following day.
The teenager and her family left the city of Kelya — 30 kilometers from the capital Beirut — where they lived, because of the bombings, but had to return to get some belongings. Mirna and her father went into the house, while her mother and siblings waited outside. At that moment, an Israeli airstrike hit the place and took the lives of the father and daughter.
Mirna was born in Balneário Camboriú, in Santa Catarina, and moved to Lebanon with her family when she was just 1 year old.
Correio contacted the Itamaraty, which reported that it had no information about the Brazilian's death. On Wednesday night (25/9), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the death of Brazilian Ali Kamal Abdallah, 15, in an Israeli attack on Lebanon. His father, Paraguayan Kamal Hussein Abdallah, 64, also died in the attack.
