VISION D'EZECHIEL

The thirtieth year, the fifth day of the fourth month, as I was among the captives by the river Chebar, the heavens opened and I saw visions of God. 1.2 The fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of the exile of King Jehoiachin - 1.3 the word of the LORD came to Ezekiel, son of Buzi the priest, in the land of the Chaldeans, near the river Chebar; and this is the hand of the LORD was upon him.1.4 I looked, and behold, there came a strong wind from the north, a great cloud, and a flash fire, which spread all around a bright light, the center of which shone like polished brass, out of the midst of fire. 1.5 In the center again, appeared four animals, whose appearance had a human likeness. 1.6 Each one had four faces, and every one had four wings. 1.7 Their legs were straight, and the soles of their feet were like a calf's foot: and they sparkled like burnished brass. 1.8 They had human hands under their wings on their four sides; and all four had their faces and their wings. 1.9 The wings were joined one to another; they turned not when walking, but each went straight forward. 1.10 When the figure of their faces, they all had a man's face, all four face of a lion on the right, the four of a beef facing left. Each one went straight forward; they went where the spirit was to go, and they turned not when they went.
