Through personal interviews with family members, associates, victims and investigators, each episode explores how the nation's worst criminals have spun their terrifying webs of violence and corruption.
Examples include the case of one-eyed crime matriarch Kath Pettingill, whose ten children either went to early graves, prison or witness protection. Also featured is Abe ‘Mr Sin’ Saffron, who ruled his family with an iron fist.
