WGSN quotes “The figures have been
released as part of a retail launch in which Facebook book is offering
tips and advice to help retailers get the most out of Facebook, Brand
Republic reports.”
Therefore more people are using it just
not for social networking or uploading photos but to also keep people
aware of new brands and retailers that people are trying to bring out in
the industry. UK Facebook users are found to be the most active users
in the world, on an average of seven hours a month being active on the
social network application.
Facebook claims that since 67% of the UK’s
Facebook demographic are 18-34 year olds, that getting information out
the quickest and the most effective is through Facebook. It has been
also surveyed that 18-34 year olds check their Facebook daily and
especially when they wake up in the morning and it’ll be the last thing
they access before they go to bed at night.
So if you’re trying to find a way to get word out in the world. Now you know how!
