"Two Russian Ministry of Defense An-124 Ruslán planes took off from the Shkalovski airfield near Moscow to their destination," the military institution confirmed.
Aid includes food, personal protective equipment and more than 1 million masks.
The delivery of aid to the Latin American country was ordered by Russian President Vladimir Putin, specifies the Ministry of Defense.
