Lula closes caravan in the south in Curitiba
EX-PRESIDENT DISCUSSED THIS WEDNESDAY (28) AND CRITICED ATTACKS SUFFERED BY CARAVAN.
ex-president Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva ended the caravan in the southern Brazilian states on Wednesday (28). In an event at the Santos Andrade Square in Curitiba, Lula spoke, among other things, about the attacks suffered by the caravan, on Tuesday afternoon (27) , according to the Workers' Party (PT).
Presidential candidates Guilherme Boulos (PSOL) and Manuela D'Ávila (PC do B) attended the event, which began around 8pm.
"They are more for fascists or anything else." "We went to Foz do Iguaçu, where they hit rock, we went to Iguaçu Falls and Laranjeiras, until in Laranjeiras we took the shot," said the former president.
The caravan of the former president from the South began on March 19 in Bagé, Rio Grande do Sul and passed through cities of Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. In the speech, which lasted about 40 minutes, Lula cited places where there were egg attacks and roadblocks during the caravan's passage.
Boulos and D'Ávila spoke before Lula, and also criticized the actions. "These people have already crossed any limit, they are apology for hatred, they are planting the seeds of fascism in our country," Boulos said.
